Future Dates

Selecting a destination and venue for the NAVDF meetings is a multi layered process with many things that need to be taken into consideration.

Many destinations and venues are excellent for many meetings, however NAVDF has certain objectives that need to met, before a venue is shortlisted and or contracted.

Objectives:

• A venue that can accommodate the meeting space required by NAVDF, including but not limited to: exhibit hall,  main session room, 4 breakout rooms, 2 lunch symposia rooms,  meeting room for business meetings,  round table rooms, workshop rooms, offices and registration
• Adequate number of guest rooms, at competitive price
• Acceptable dates (dates are generally the same time frame each year, depending on holidays)
• Achievable Food & Beverage minimum guarantees
• Adhering to the geographical rotation schedule
• Alternating between city and resort-style locations
• Destination must be desirable, safe and have good transportation links

If a property aligns with all of the above, then it would be shortlisted and would be reviewed in person by some members of the Organizing Committee.
